Hit-And-Run Crash Results In Injuries and DUI Arrest

Missouri’s Kirsville Daily Express reports that after a hit-and-run accident early on the morning of May 17 in Missouri, two people required hospitalization and another was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that 29-year-old Douglas Hurley and 36-year-old Deborah Hurley, both Unionville, Missouri residents, were sent to the hospital after the 2006 Yamaha motorcycle they were riding was hit by an unknown driver.
The crash took place shortly before 3 a.m. in Lancaster, Missouri. According to reports, an unknown driver ran a stop sign, pulling in front of the motorcycle. The driver then left the scene of the crime and there was no information obtained.
As a result of the crash, Douglas Hurley received moderate personal injuries and was placed under arrest for DUI. Deborah Hurley’s injuries were more serious. Both received transport via ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center.
